1. Introduction
1.1 These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of goods by London Trimmings (Wholesale) Ltd (“the
Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”) via our warehouse, retail showroom, online platform, and other
approved sales channels.
1.2 By placing an order, the customer (“you”) agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1.3 These Terms do not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer
Rights Act 2015.
2. Products
2.1 We supply haberdashery items, fabrics, trimmings, sewing accessories, and related products,
subject to availability.
2.2 Product descriptions, pricing, and images are provided with care but may be subject to change. We
are not liable for minor inaccuracies unless they materially misrepresent the product.
3. Orders
3.1 Orders may be placed via our website, in-store, or by phone. All orders are subject to availability
and acceptance.
3.2 Your order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or reject any order.
3.3 Upon acceptance, you will receive confirmation. Please review this carefully and notify us of any
discrepancies promptly.
3.4 Colours displayed online may vary due to screen settings and are approximate representations only.
4. Prices and Payment
4.1 All prices are in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
4.2 Prices may change without notice; confirmed orders will not be affected.
4.3 Accepted payment methods include debit/credit cards, or as otherwise agreed.
4.4 Invoice payments are due within 15 days unless otherwise specified in writing.
5. Delivery
5.1 Delivery charges are confirmed at checkout or time of order. Delivery timeframes are estimates and
may vary.
5.2 Once your order has been confirmed and payment has been received, orders received by 1pm on a
working day are normally dispatched the same day, stock permitting. Orders confirmed and paid after
1pm, at weekends or on public holidays will be dispatched the next working day. We are not liable for
delays caused by third-party carriers or unforeseen events.
5.3 Risk passes on delivery. Ownership transfers once full payment is received.6. Inspection and Claims
6.1 Please inspect goods upon delivery. Report any shortages, damages, or non-conformities within 14
days of delivery and before goods are altered, cut, or resold.
6.2 Returns require prior written agreement. A restocking fee may apply to non-faulty items returned
from in-store purchases.
7. Retention of Title
7.1 Ownership remains with us until all outstanding invoices are paid in full.
7.2 Payment by cheque or other instruments is not complete until funds have cleared.
7.3 If payment is overdue, we reserve the right to reclaim goods not yet paid for, subject to lawful
recovery procedures.
7.4 Until ownership transfers, goods must be stored separately and identified as our property. Proceeds
from resale must be held on trust and paid into a designated account.
7.5 We reserve the right to pursue outstanding balances following delivery and invoicing.
8. Returns and Refunds
8.1 You may return unused, undamaged goods in original packaging within 28 days of delivery (or
within 28 days of purchase for in-store purchases).
8.2 Custom-made or special-order items are non-refundable unless faulty.
8.3 Faulty or damaged goods must be reported within 14 days of delivery. We will offer a refund, repair
or replacement in accordance with your statutory rights.
8.4 Exchanges are available in store only. For online orders, please return the item for a refund and
place a new order.

9. Colour Representation and Shade Matching
9.1 Product colours may vary due to screen settings and device displays. Images are for guidance only.
9.2 Customers are responsible for ensuring colour suitability. We recommend testing before purchase.
9.3 Minor variations between manufacturing batches or dye lots are common and do not constitute
faults.
9.4 We do not guarantee colourfastness or durability of dyes during washing or chemical treatment.
Customers should conduct necessary tests.
10. Sewing Threads and Shade Accuracy
10.1 Threads are supplied using recognised industry shade references. Customers must verify
suitability.
10.2 We do not guarantee exact matches between online visuals, physical stock, or batches.
10.3 Refunds on thread colours, and exchanges (in store only), apply only to stocked items in resalable
condition. Custom threads are non-returnable unless faulty.
10.4 We are not liable for colour discrepancies where shade cards or verification were not used.11. Faulty Goods
11.1 If goods are faulty, we will offer a refund, repair, or replacement in line with the Consumer Rights
Act 2015.
11.2 Faulty items must be returned before resolution is processed.
12. Product Guarantees
12.1 Manufacturer warranties apply where stated on product pages or packaging.
12.2 Warranty terms are governed by the manufacturer’s conditions.
13. Limitation of Liability
13.1 Except where the law does not allow us to limit our liability (including for death or personal injury
caused by our negligence, or for fraud), our liability is limited to the value of goods purchased.
13.2 We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss unless caused by negligence or breach of
statutory duty.
13.3 These terms do not limit your legal rights under UK consumer protection laws.
14. Suitability and Responsibility
14.1 You are responsible for ensuring goods are suitable for your intended purpose.
14.2 Any required testing or assessment must be arranged at your expense.
15. Intellectual Property
15.1 All branding, content, and trademarks are owned by London Trimmings (Wholesale) Ltd or its
licensors.
15.2 You may not reproduce or use our intellectual property without prior written consent.
16. Data Protection
16.1 We handle personal data in compliance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy.
17. Force Majeure
17.1 We are not liable for delays or failures due to events beyond our control, including strikes, fire,
flooding, or pandemics.
18. Governing Law
18.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
18.2 Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
